This Privacy Policy applies to the Aether — AI Portrait Studio mobile application. This policy clearly explains how we handle user data, protect user privacy, and defines all data processing rules during your use of the App. Aether is committed to user privacy protection, and all core functions of the App are designed based on local device processing to fully safeguard user data security. This policy does not involve complex legal binding clauses, only factual descriptions of our data processing behaviors.
Aether adheres to the core privacy concept of “local processing, zero data upload, zero personal information collection” in all service links. The App does not require any user account registration, login verification, or identity authentication. Users can open and use all functional modules of the App directly without submitting any personal information.
The App does not collect, record, analyze, store, upload or transmit any user facial information in any form. We do not capture facial feature data from the photos you upload or capture, do not extract facial contour, facial proportion, facial feature points, skin texture, facial expression and other biometric facial data, do not match, identify or mark user facial features, and will not build any personal facial file, facial database or facial recognition profile for any user. All AI portrait rendering only adjusts the styling elements such as headwear, outfit, hair style and background based on the overall picture layer of the user’s photos, without any extraction and retention of facial biometric information.
Aether is a completely account-free application. There is no account registration, login, password setting, mobile phone number binding, email binding or third-party account association function in the App. Users can use all AI portrait creation, video animation production, local gallery preview and management functions without providing any identity information.
Since there is no account system and user identity recording mechanism, the App has no channel to associate, collect or store user facial information. We will not bind any facial data to user identity, nor will we retain facial feature records corresponding to any user. All portrait creation operations are completely anonymous and only exist locally on the user’s device.
All functional operations of Aether, including photo uploading, real-time shooting, style preset matching, AI portrait reconstruction, five-second dynamic video rendering, animation effect processing and artwork preview, adopt full local device processing mode. All data calculation, AI model rendering and image and video processing procedures are completed on the user’s mobile device, and no processing data will be uploaded to any cloud server, remote server or third-party platform.
During the whole AI portrait and video processing process, our AI model only performs overall style transformation and scene element replacement on the user’s picture content at the pixel and image layer level. The model does not trigger any facial feature detection, facial data extraction or facial biometric analysis. We do not collect any facial information generated before, during and after processing, and no facial data will be cached, temporarily stored or permanently recorded in any link of algorithm operation.
All artworks generated by users through the App, including static styled portraits and dynamic short videos, are only stored in the exclusive private gallery of the App on the user’s local device. The App does not automatically synchronize, backup or upload local gallery content to the cloud. Users can independently save artworks to the device’s photo album, share them to other applications or delete them with one click. After the user deletes any artwork in the gallery, the corresponding photo and video files will be completely and permanently removed from the local device without any residual data.
The local gallery only stores the final rendered portrait and video works, and does not retain any original facial feature data, facial analysis logs or facial parameter information generated during processing. We do not collect or view the facial content contained in the user’s local gallery works, and all facial-related content in the works is completely controlled and owned by the user. No facial information will be transmitted out of the user’s device or obtained by us in any way.
In order to fully protect user privacy, Aether has set up a comprehensive zero-collection mechanism for user personal information, and all the following data will never be collected, stored or used by the App:
First, we do not collect any facial biometric information. Including but not limited to user facial feature point coordinates, facial contour data, eye, nose, mouth and other facial organ feature parameters, facial skin feature data, facial expression change data, face size and proportion data and all other identifiable facial biometric information. Second, we do not collect facial recognition data, will not create unique facial identification codes for users, and do not store any facial comparison data. Third, we do not collect any user portrait original facial data, and the uploaded photos and captured portraits are only processed locally and will not be obtained or stored by us. Fourth, we never build any user facial profile, facial database or user facial feature file, and there is no facial data archiving and user labeling behavior.
In addition, the App does not collect user personal identity information, device information, location information, contact information, browsing records, usage logs and other irrelevant personal data, and does not carry out any user behavior tracking and data statistics.
Aether does not share, transmit, sell or authorize any third-party institutions, enterprises or individuals to obtain any user data generated during the use of the App. There is no third-party data access interface, data sharing channel or data transmission function in the App. All user data is limited to local device use only.
We will not provide any user facial information to third parties in any form, will not authorize third-party algorithms or platforms to detect, analyze and collect user facial data, and will not transmit any portrait content containing user facial features to external servers or third-party channels. No third party can obtain, view or use the user’s facial information through the App.
All data and artwork generated by users using Aether are completely controlled by users themselves. Users have the full right to decide to retain, save, share or delete portrait works and dynamic videos. The App will not automatically save, share or upload any user content, and all operation behaviors are independently confirmed by users.
Since we do not collect or store any user facial information, users do not need to apply for facial data deletion, cancellation or privacy authorization. All facial content in the works is completely controlled by the user. Users can delete all portrait content containing facial features at any time, and the deleted facial-related content will be completely cleared from the local device without any backup or retention by us.
The daily operation and function optimization of Aether only rely on local algorithm iteration and model optimization, and do not require any user data support. The App will not monitor user operation behaviors, will not count user creation content, and will not feed back user personalized content to the server.
Our algorithm optimization and function upgrade will not involve any collection and analysis of user facial information. The iteration of portrait styling presets, dynamic animation effects and other functions only optimizes the overall picture rendering effect, and does not involve any facial feature identification and data extraction, which will not affect the user’s facial privacy security in any way.
