These Terms of Service apply to your access and use of the Aether — AI Portrait Studio mobile application. This document sets forth clear usage rules, service descriptions, and user guidelines for all users of the App. By opening and using Aether, you acknowledge and accept these Terms voluntarily. This document is a factual usage specification without restrictive legal clauses and only serves to standardize the use of our App services.
Aether is a local AI portrait creation tool that provides users with intelligent portrait styling and dynamic video production services. The core functions of the App include local photo processing, multi-style portrait rendering, dynamic animation effect generation, and local artwork management. All service processes are completed on the user’s local device to ensure user data privacy and usage autonomy.
Throughout all service provision processes, the App will not collect, extract, analyze, store, upload, or transmit any of your facial information. All AI rendering operations only adjust picture styling elements such as headwear, clothing, hairstyle and background based on the overall image content, without any identification, recording or retention of your facial biometric features.
Aether provides fully open and account-free services for all users. The App does not require users to complete registration, log in, bind mobile phone numbers, bind email addresses or authorize third-party accounts. All built-in functions of the App can be used directly after installation and opening, and no personal identity information is required to activate or unlock any functions.
Since there is no account system, the App cannot associate any facial information with your user identity. We do not record any facial data generated during your use of the App, and there is no mechanism to store, match or track your facial features for any usage scenario.
All users have the right to freely use all functional modules of the App for personal non-commercial creation. You may upload photos from your device album or take new photos through the App, select exclusive style presets, generate AI painted portraits, create 5-second dynamic portrait videos, and preview, save, share or delete local artwork files independently.
When you use the portrait creation service, all facial content in the photos you provide is only processed locally on your device. We do not obtain any access rights to your facial information, do not cache or reserve your facial feature data during operation, and will not use your facial information for any service optimization, algorithm training or data analysis purposes.
All static portraits and dynamic short videos created by users through the App are exclusively owned and controlled by the users. All artwork files are only stored in the App’s private local gallery on your device. The App will not automatically back up, synchronize or upload your creative works to any cloud server or remote platform. You have the right to save artwork files to your device’s system album, share them to other third-party applications, or delete them permanently at any time.
All facial information contained in your creative works is completely owned by you. We do not collect or retain any facial data in your artwork files, nor will we scan, analyze or count the facial content of your local works. After you delete any artwork, all corresponding facial-related picture and video data will be completely cleared from your local device without any residual retention by us.
When using Aether services, users shall abide by basic usage norms and use the App in a legal and appropriate manner. Users shall not use the App to create, produce or spread illegal, obscene, violent, discriminatory or other inappropriate content, and shall not use the App’s AI creation function for commercial speculation, infringement creation and other improper behaviors.
These usage specifications do not involve any collection of your facial information. No matter what creative content you produce, we will not actively identify, record or store your facial features, and your facial privacy will not be affected by service specification supervision.
The intellectual property rights of the App’s built-in style presets, animation effects, interface design, algorithm framework and functional technologies belong exclusively to us. Users obtain the right to use the above resources for personal non-commercial creation through the App, but shall not copy, modify, disassemble, reverse engineer, spread or commercially authorize the App’s core technologies and resource materials without permission.
The intellectual property protection mechanism of the App does not involve the collection of user facial information. All user facial content in the created works belongs to the user, and we will not claim any rights to your facial information or use your facial data for intellectual property authorization and management.
We reserve the right to carry out regular maintenance, function optimization, effect upgrade and version iteration of the App. The update content mainly includes optimizing portrait rendering effects, enriching style presets, upgrading dynamic animation effects and improving user operation experience. All maintenance and update operations are completed through local version replacement and will not upload user local data.
Any App optimization and version update will not add facial information collection functions, nor will it start background detection, analysis or storage of user facial features. Our service iteration is only for improving visual and interactive experience, and will never involve the collection and use of your facial privacy data.
We guarantee the normal operation of the App’s core creation functions. Affected by device performance, system version and other objective factors, individual devices may have slight differences in rendering effects. We do not assume any responsibility for the differences in creative effects caused by objective device factors, and only provide functional technical support within the service scope.
Under no circumstances will we collect, store or leak your facial information. We are completely exempted from any risk liability related to facial information leakage, because we have never obtained any of your facial data in the whole service process.
We reserve the right to adjust and optimize these Terms of Service according to App function iteration and service upgrade. The adjusted Terms will be displayed in the App’s setting page. Your continued use of the App after the update of the Terms will be regarded as your recognition of the updated rules.
Any adjustment of the Terms will never change our core rule of zero collection of user facial information. We will never add any clause allowing the collection, analysis or storage of user facial data in any updated version.
